These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of this website and any purchase made from NZ Anime Ltd as NZ Gundam Store .
By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or place an order.

1. About Us

This website is operated by NZ Anime Ltd, trading as NZ Gundam Store.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
If you are under 18 years of age, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time by publishing an updated version on this page.
Changes do not affect orders already accepted by us.

4. Products & Descriptions

  • Product images and descriptions are for reference only.

  • Manufacturers may revise packaging, colours, accessories, or specifications without notice.

  • Minor variations do not constitute a fault.

5. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are displayed in NZD, unless otherwise stated.

  • Prices may change at any time but will not affect accepted orders.

  • Orders are not confirmed until payment is received and accepted by us.

Pricing Errors

If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

6. Orders & Acceptance

  • Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase.

  • We accept the order once it has been processed or dispatched.

  • We may cancel or refuse orders due to stock availability, allocation issues, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or misuse.

7. Pre-Orders, Deposits & Allocations

Many products sold on our website are pre-orders or imported items.

7.1 Payment Options for Pre-Orders

For pre-order items, customers may choose one of the following options (where available):

  • 20% deposit, with the remaining balance payable before dispatch; or

  • Full payment upfront.

7.2 Cancellations of Pre-Orders

  • All cancellations (whether deposit or fully paid orders) are subject to a 20% cancellation fee, calculated based on the product price.

  • This applies regardless of whether the order was paid in full or by deposit.

  • The remaining amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

This reflects supplier commitments and administrative costs incurred once an order is placed.

7.3 Release Dates (Pre-Orders)

For pre-order products, the release date shown on our website refers to the official Japanese release date, as provided by the manufacturer or distributor.

In most cases:

  • Japanese release dates are listed as the end of the stated release month; and

  • Delivery to New Zealand typically occurs approximately 2 months after the Japanese release date, subject to shipping schedules, customs clearance, and supplier logistics.

The stated release date is an estimate only and does not represent the delivery date in New Zealand.
Delays may occur due to factors outside our control, including (but not limited to) manufacturing changes, shipping delays, customs processing, or supplier scheduling.

By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • The Japanese release date is not the New Zealand arrival date; and

  • The estimated arrival timeframe may change without prior notice.

Such delays do not constitute grounds for cancellation without the applicable cancellation fee as outlined in Section 7.2.

7.4 Supplier Allocations & Stock Cuts

Some items (including limited or P-Bandai items) are subject to supplier allocation.
If we are unable to fulfil your order due to supplier reduction or cancellation, you will receive a full refund.

8. Returns & Refunds

8.1 Change of Mind Returns

  • Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery.

  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in original condition.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

8.2 Faulty or Incorrect Items

If an item is faulty, damaged in transit, or incorrect, please contact us promptly with your order number and photos where applicable.

9. Shipping & Delivery

9.1 Shipping

  • Shipping options and costs are shown at checkout.

  • Delivery timeframes are estimates only.

9.2 Address Accuracy

You are responsible for providing a correct delivery address.
Additional charges may apply if an order is returned or delayed due to incorrect details.

10. Pick-Up Orders

Pick-up is available by appointment only.

  • Orders must be placed and paid for in advance.

  • You must contact us to arrange a collection time before arriving.

  • Identification and order confirmation may be required.

11. Consumer Guarantees Act (NZ)

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
If products are purchased for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act may not apply.

12. Promotions, Store Credit & Discounts

  • Promotional codes are subject to specific terms and expiry dates.

  • Promo codes cannot be applied after an order is placed.

  • Store credit has no cash value unless required by law.

13. Acceptable Use

You must not misuse our website, attempt to access systems without authorisation, distribute malicious software, or interfere with other users.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for breaches.

14. Intellectual Property

All content on this website is owned by us or our licensors and may not be used for commercial purposes without written permission.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or business.

  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the product(s) giving rise to the claim, except where consumer law requires otherwise.

16. Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including courier delays, supplier disruptions, customs clearance, or natural disasters.

17. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
